Sr. Online Advertising Analyst/Manager

Are you looking for an opportunity to join an entrepreneurial and innovative culture?  We are currently looking for an experienced Ad Operations professional to join our media team.  This position will be located in our Jericho, NY office.     

The right candidate will be an expert in digital campaign operations, media tagging, digital ad servers, and have experience in troubleshooting and solving media tracking discrepancies. Thinking outside of the box, the right individual will bring ideas to drive new online products and ad integration into our site redesign. This position will also be responsible for communication with internal teams, outside media agencies, publishers, and ad tech partners regarding operational setup, ongoing monitoring, and issue resolution. This role oversees the trafficking and campaign/reporting analysts.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance and delivery; use campaign results to make optimization recommendations that will be delivered to project managers.
  • Oversee and establish best practices for new and evolving ad products; drives adherence to IAB standards
  • Toggle between multiple campaign management platforms (Ad Server + third party platforms)
  • Ensure accuracy of both internal and external dissemination of campaign information
  • Troubleshooting integration issues, tracking abnormalities and ensuring campaigns deliver. Work with the internal Dev team to ensure issues are swiftly addressed.
  • Report traffic patterns & optimization insights to share with Management
  • Monthly review of live campaigns for standardization opportunities and asset or technical updates
  • Manage a small ad operations and campaign performance team
  • Proactive optimization towards specific campaign established KPIs

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital ad operations handling high-volume campaign operations
  • Background in brand and direct response marketing at an ad network or large publisher required
  • Experience working with viewability & verification vendors such as IAS, DoubleVerify, MOAT
  • Experience with ad servers such as One by AOL, or similar.
  • Knowledge of DFA, Sizmek, and various third-party ad serving platforms
  • Working knowledge of Video ad-serving protocols (VMRAID/VAST)
  • Experience managing a small team is preferred. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and handle a number of concurrent projects and tasks
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders and both advertisers
  • Expert knowledge of implementing tracking tools: pixels, ad tags, rich media integrations, etc…
  • Positive attitude, energetic and self-confident
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of data visualization software (Tableau, IBI, Domo) a plus
  • Minimum 4 year degree required.
